Detailed Product Description
High squeeze resistance casing is manufactured through optimizing the composition of the casing material, geometric dimensions, mechanical properties, residual stresses, and other manufacturing processes to achieve external pressure resistance beyond the API standard values. This specialized product is suitable for shale gas wells, deep wells, ultra-deep wells, and zonal fracturing operations. By optimizing the manufacturing process design, the external pressure resistance can be enhanced to reach 115% to 180% of the API standard values. Squeeze-resistant casings have been tested and certified by authoritative domestic institutions since 2008 and are widely used in major domestic oilfields. The newly developed composite function casings resistant to both squeezing and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) corrosion have also passed authoritative testing and field practice verification.

Product Characteristics
To ensure superior external pressure resistance, the high squeeze resistance casing features:
- An outer diameter ovality ≤ 0.5%
- Wall thickness variation ≤ 10%
- Material grain size ASTM E112 Grade 8 or finer
- Decarburization layer depth on the inner or outer surface ≤ 5% of the wall thickness
- Hoop residual compressive stress ≤ 20% of the material yield strength Based on the casing’s outer diameter/wall thickness ratio (D/T), the external pressure resistance can be guaranteed to exceed the API standard values by 15% to 80%.
