World's First 6000KJ+ Super Large Hydraulic Pile Hammer Core Forging Component Contract Signed
World’s First 6000KJ+ Super Large Hydraulic Pile Hammer Core Forging Component Contract Signed
Recently, China First Heavy Industries (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “China First Heavy”) successfully signed a contract with Jiangsu Longyuan Zhenhua Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. for the world’s first 6000KJ+ super large hydraulic pile hammer core forging component.
The 6000KJ+ super large hydraulic pile hammer core forging component features an exceptionally large diameter, complex cross-section, and high-performance specifications. Its weight and specifications are unprecedented in related fields. The maximum diameter of the forging component has exceeded the current limit of the company’s hydraulic press space, posing significant manufacturing challenges. To meet customer demands, the technical team at China First Heavy innovatively proposed the use of near-net-shape forming technology. They also carried out transformation and upgrades of relevant cold and hot processing equipment as well as auxiliary equipment. This provided a good solution for addressing deformation issues during the heating process of super large cylindrical billets and garnered the trust of the customer.
For a long time, core equipment for global offshore wind power construction projects—large and super large hydraulic pile hammers and their core forging components—have been monopolized by developed countries. Domestic enterprises have been in a passive position due to the inability to produce key large-scale core forging components.
The successful signing of the contract for the world’s first 6000KJ+ super large hydraulic pile hammer core forging component by China First Heavy further solidifies its leading position in the field of large-scale cast and forged components. This effort adds momentum to the construction of a globally competitive world-class industrial group.
